Ecolibrium Launches On PS Vita Today

The new gaming app has the player maintaining and preserving an alien terrain, where you can grow and cultivate various alien species and interact using the touch screen and the gyro controls in the system itself.

Maintaining balance is the key to Ecolibrium. In order to achieve balance in your ecosystem, you must take into account various basic factors, including feeding the creatures, the impact of the seasons and the right proportion of creatures for each link in the food chain. Maintaining balance will net you Ecopoints, which you can spend by purchasing new specimens (animals, plants, etc.) from within the laboratory menu. You can also buy specimens using tokens, which can be purchased in-game.

The game will also regularly have new content added to its stores and available to download as the game grows. It’s free to play, but purchasing things using tokens costs money. How much you want to spend is up to you. Be sure to try it out!

Dead Or Alive 5 Plus Has New Costumes In Japan Among Other Extras
Tecmo Koei announced a “Plus” version of DOA5 for the PS Vita earlier this year, and recently announced that Japan will be receiving a few extra bonuses for a collector’s edition that is being released as well. Fighters who get the special edition get 12 paradise costumes for the girls, a “I’m a Fighter” decal for the PS Vita, volume 2 of the OST, and an “extreme private gravure movie”. First print copies of the game also come with special cheerleader outfits for Tina, Ayane, and Kasumi.
Neither Team Ninja nor Tecmo Koei announced whether or not the collector’s edition or bonus content would reach the west, but have confirmed the game itself will reach Western shores in early 2013.

Is Muramasa For PS Vita On Its Way To America?
Originally only scheduled for a Japan release, it seems Sony’s own blog may have accidentally outed the game, putting it on a list of Most Anticipated Games before pulling the poll quickly and removing Muramasa entirely from the listing.
Perhaps it’s a fluke, but perhaps it’s also a hint of a great game to come to the rather dry PS Vita listing?

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus Has New Hero Mode
Still new to Ninja Gaiden? The Vita port of (arguably) the best Ninja Gaiden game has a new Hero mode to give rookies a more easy and laid back approach into the game’s mechanics. Take advantage of it if you want to get used to the game before going through a more difficult mode.
A new mode titled Ninja Race also lets you speedrun through different levels trying to get a best score and time. Another new feature is the tag mission mode, letting you get more time with Ayane, Rachel, and Momiji. The game comes out late February in Japan with a US and EU release date supposedly soon after.
Now the only question is… will the “juggling” feature for the female characters remain?

Call Of Duty: Black Ops Declassified Will Not Feature Zombies

“This is the first Call of Duty game on Vita, and it needs to deliver on its core strengths - arguably, multiplayer gaming with twin-stick controls in a portable format. That’s the core experience, and that simply needs to come first.

Activision rep Dan Amrich explains a little more on why the mode will be omitted from the final version of the game. Instead of zombies, the game will include a mode caled “Hostiles Mode” where you face off against waves of enemy AI instead of zombies.
Note, this mode was not ruled out as future DLC if there is enough demand for it.
