Would you like to make games but don’t know how? Well here is a tool to help you get started!
CraftStudio is a program that has built-in model, texture, animation, and LUA scripting tool all in one. There is also a Community Hub for chatting and asking for help. There is also a Minecraft export option, so you can bring your models into Minecraft!
It’s free to use for today for evaluation. The community is full of nice and helpful people too. Try it out and check out the games made with it here.
Note: The program is still in alpha. More features are bound to be released.

Minecraft Griefers?
So last night our server was heavily griefed. With the plugins out today it’s more of an annoyance than a problem though. But! You make my life a little harder, I’ll make yours a little harder.
Every pathetic griefer we find will now be in a public document. This can be used by any user or anyone with a different Minecraft server. You can’t change the document but you can copy it into your own banlists or warn other OPs on any other server.
If you have a griefer banlist and want to share it, don’t be afraid to submit it to us! With almost a million followers we hope we can make this something to help other Minecraft servers all over the world.

Hey there, everyone! As some of you may or may not know, once upon a time we had a dedicated Minecraft server running so that we could play with our followers and get to know you better. Unfortunately due to cost, the server had to be shut down, leaving many of us with nowhere to play. However due to a slight increase in support, we’re happy to announce that the community server is coming back soon. For those of you skeptical about joining a server you know nothing about, we’re a friendly group of people who love video games and making new friends. We have a zero-tolerance policy for griefing or harassment on our server, and have a multitude of resources to prevent and fix griefing. We also have a few plugins for PvP and other modes of gaming like Capture the Flag, Mob Arena, and The Hunger Games. We’ll also be trying to release custom plugins for the server as well, to bring fun new things to the game that you can only experience with us. Our staff is always willing to help, whether you want someone help you build, someone to play games on the server with, or if you’re experiencing difficulties on the server.
Now onto the boring stuff; Running a server is both expensive and time consuming, and we’re normal people just like you. Though there are a few of us helping to share the costs, it’s still pretty expensive to host a large-scale server for the kind of community we’re hoping to create here. Not only that, but we’re aiming to make VGN a full-fledged gaming community with forums, servers, streaming, and more. As such, these things can get pretty expensive so we’re looking to the community to help us out a bit. As a low-staffed, non-profit blog, we’re not making any money, and we’re really not looking to. Any donations, no matter how small, will go to two things, and two things ONLY: Server costs, and charities such as Child’s Play. Currently we have a Killing Floor server to be released when it’s up to par, a TF2 server in the works, and if we get enough help from the community, we’ll be able to open lots of other cool servers like Synergy, Counter Strike and/or L4D2. If you’d like to donate, you can send any size contribution here. Anything from a penny to a few dollars would be GREATLY appreciated. We’ll even let you decide where the money goes, to charity or to the servers! If left blank it’ll be an even 50/50 split.
Now, the server is still in it’s early stages so if there are any problems please don’t be afraid to report them to an admin or mod. We are all honestly very friendly people. If you purposefully take advantage of any permissions that aren’t in order yet, you’ll be instantly banned permanently. If you report bad permissions, you’ll be rewarded! We won’t tolerate rude behavior or excessive cursing either. This is a no drama zone for friendly people to relax, build, and survive.
