Sorry, Europe. Persona 4: Arena Won’t Arrive In 2012
Zen United, the UK publisher for the game, stated in a FAQ today that a 2012 release for Persona 4: Arena is out of the question.

“Unfortunately, there is still no new information to give you which was not originally covered in the FAQ,” reads a portion of the statement. “With that being the case, a 2012 release for Persona 4: Arena is now no longer possible.”

The main apparent reason is that the European build is still being developed, and the game cannot be published before the final build is complete. No concrete release date is available at this time, but a FAQ related to the issue is available to read here.
