And here it is, the successor to the PSP: the PlayStation Vita (Yes, that is the official name)!
The Vita will feature voice chat (which will be called “Party”). According to Kaz Hirai, users will be able to talk to their friends while having the ability to enjoy playing different games at the same time.
Also, the Vita will have both Wi-Fi and 3G functionality, with AT&T being the official wireless carrier. The Wi-Fi model will go for $249 and the 3G model will go for $299. The PlayStation Vita will launch by the end of 2011.
Oh, and finally, Street Fighter x Tekken will be heading to the PlayStation Vita and it will feature Cole MacGrath from inFAMOUS. Cole will also be featured in the PS3 version of the game.
