StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm Release Date Announced

You are Sarah Kerrigan, former Queen of Blades. Once the most feared entity in the galaxy, you now wait in a cell in the depths of a high-security research laboratory. Before the murderous forces of the Terran Dominion close in, you must plot your escape to the dark reaches of space… and reclaim your living empire at the Heart of the Swarm.^[1]

The expansion pack will contain exciting new features, such as an obvious extension of the campaign mode, along with new units and modifications of old units, including (but not limited to):

[Terran] Widow Mines
[Protoss] Oracle
[Protoss] Tempest
[Protoss] Mothership Core
[Zerg] Swarm Host
[Zerg] Viper

The game is set to release 12 March, 2013 and can be pre-purchased in standard or deluxe edition from the BattleNet website.
