Amnesia fans will be thrilled to know that Frictional Games is working on a sequel to The Dark Descent, called A Machine for Pigs. One of my contacts, Wesley Tack is the lead artist building the maps from scratch right now in the HPL2 engine. I’ve spoken with Wes, and he’s mentioned that he’d like to answer some questions about the game, however he’s extremely busy with travel and design work so hopefully when things move along, he’ll have some inside info to share on the production of AMFP. Hopefully next time I’ll have a little more to share since I like to share with you the technical side of video game production. Frictional is aiming for an early 2013 release so we’ll keep you updated here on VGN.
