SteelSeries Guild Wars 2 Gaming Headset Review
I was really excited to get my hands on this headset. Not only is it the first available headset from the Flux series, it’s also stylized after a game I’ve anticipated all year.

The Flux series is unique in a couple of ways. First, the headset is completely  customizable, letting you change everything from the magnetic side plates to the ear cushions and even the cord. These headsets are also unique in the fact that they are extremely flexible and they even fold up to make traveling easy and worry free.

Okay, now we get into the performance. The sound quality is everything you would expect from SteelSeries. In the back of my head I was thinking that the portability of the headset would take away from the quality but that doesn’t seem to be the  case at all. One thing I particularly like about this headset is how light it is compared to other gaming headsets. I can wear it for hours and it never gets uncomfortable. Another plus is that microphone will never get in the way because it’s built in the cord along with a handy mute switch.
The only complaint I had with this headset was the lack of volume control, but maybe as SteelSeries releases more Flux items they will add a cord with an in-line volume control feature. Here’s hoping.
When all is said and done, the Guild Wars 2 headset performs as well as I could have hoped, giving unparalleled sound quality and comfort. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new headset or just any gamer that likes to travel.
