Break World Records with LittleBigPlanet 2
Beginning January 17, Sony will be joining Guinness World Records for three days as players will have the opportunity to make history and break five world records with LittleBigPlanet 2.
The records are:
Longest marathon playing LittleBigPlanet 2
Longest marathon playing a platform video game
Most video game genres played in one video game in 24 hours
Most user-generated video game levels played in 24 hours
Most user-generated video game levels played in a marathon
Also, LBP 2 will be getting these two records:
Most gaming genres in one video game
Most player-created levels in one video game
All the magic will happen at the Playstation Lounge in NYC’s Sony Style store. It’ll be hosted by Veronica Belmont and Jeff Rubenstein, and interviews with fans and dev team Media Molecule. This event will also feature the Guinness World Records 2011 Gamer’s Edition which will feature Sackboy on the cover. You can get the book on January 20 for $24.99.
