Irrational Games Reveals the Motorized Patriot
One of the first of BioShock Infinite’s “Heavy Hitter” enemies, the Motorized Patriot is basically a mechanical George Washington with a Gatling gun.
“Unlike most of the enemies, he’s completely fearless. He doesn’t have a sense of self-preservation, so he’ll just keep coming at you and coming at you. These are enemies that are used to not just be more powerful, but to augment the abilities of the more traditional BioShock enemies. You’re going to come across them in certain areas of the game, and they’re going to provide a really unique challenge.” —Ken Levine on the new reveal
More of Infinite’s “Heavy Hitter” enemies are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks. BioShock Infinite will be available in North America starting October 16, and will have a worldwide release of October 19.
