This is the story of Agness Kaku, the then-24-year-old who localized Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. She recounts the harsh conditions Konami forced on her to localize it and how she overcame all of these obstacles to deliver the entire script of the most controversial Metal Gear Solid game to date (and my personal favorite of the series).

I highly recommend you read it, as it sheds more light on Konami as a company and details a lot of obstacles that aren’t necessarily uncommon in the gaming industry.
