BlizzCon 2012 is NOT Happening
Blizzard’s huge gaming con will not be happening this year. Why? Blizzard says their current schedule is focused on Diablo III, World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria, and StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm. BlizzCon will make a return in 2013.
In addition to this announcement, Blizzard also announced the 2012 Battle.net World Championship, which is an e-sports tournament that will feature the “best pro-gaming competition in the world”. The event will take place in Asia at the end of 2012. It will be host to the 2012 StarCraft II and World of Warcraft Arena World Championship Tournaments.
Blizzard plans to release more info on BlizzCon 2013 and the 2012 Battle.net World Championship in the upcoming months.
